Statement of intent
The ECRDA is an entity of the Provincial Department of Agriculture (DOA) and is being positioned as the APEX Agency of the Eastern Cape Provincial Government in the transformation and commercialisation of agriculture, contributing economic growth and improved rural livelihoods.
Impact Statement
The ECRDA will prioritise the five high impact and catalytic areas designed to drive the commercialisation and long-term sustainability of rural enterprises, while enhancing food security and community livelihoods.
